A number of fights have recently been announced for the undercard portion of BCMMA 17, including an amateur middleweight title fight as champion James Webb (2-0) returns to defend the strap against Norwegian, Henrik Lie (2-2).

Undefeated as an amateur, Webb picked up the belt at BCMMA 16, choking out challenger Megdad Sarvar in the second round.

Lie has gone 2-1 under the BCMMA banner, but last competed on Contenders Norwich 16 in September, tapping out to Joel Haythorn in the first round.

There’s more title action on the prelims, as Tommy Asabre (2-1) and Faisal Malik (3-0) battle it out for the amateur bantamweight strap.

Sabre made the move to 135lbs at BCMMA 16, besting Kyle Hewson over the course of nine minutes to get the nod.

Malik has maintained a perfect amateur record, picking up wins on BCMMA and Shinobi Fighting Championships – going the distance in all three outings.

Also announced for the undercard, an amateur welterweight bout between Dalius Sulga (4-2) and Arthur Jakob (5-3), as well as Paula Donnelly (1-2) vs. Sarah Jones at featherweight.
