Following on from a career best performance at Cage Warriors 75 back in April, Paddy ‘The Baddy’ Pimblett is set to return to the promotion for their upcoming show in July.

Pimblett (10-1) made the most of CWFC’s long awaited return, easily handling veteran Ashleigh Grimshaw en route to a one-sided unanimous decision victory in front of a sold out Camden Centre, and those watching on UFC Fight Pass. The performance left many questioning how long before Pimblett makes his way to the UFC itself.

Standing in his way at CWFC 77 is Fenchman, Teddy Violet.

Violet (10-2) has lost just twice in his professional career, dropping a split decision to Michihiro Omigawa in February, and tapping to a Tom DuQuesnoy triangle choke back in 2014.

Also announced for the show is the return of unbeaten light-heavyweight, Darren ‘The Dentist’ Stewart.

Also victorious at CWFC 75, Stewart (6-0) wasted no time in despatching of man mountain James Hurrell, earning the TKO stoppage at just 37 seconds of the very first round.

A teammate of Teddy Violet, Boubacar Balde (11-8) has the unenviable task of becoming the first man to defeat Stewart. The MMA Factory fighter made an impression on the Cage Warriors stage previously, battling Jake Bostwick in a bloody, back and forth war at CWFC 64.

Cage Warriors 77 is set to take place at the Camden Centre, London on Friday, July 8. Tickets are available HERE.
