A Bantamweight Championship fight between current champion Nathaniel Wood and Josh Reed has been announced for Cage Warriors 86.
The promotion announced the bout over social media.
Wood (11-3) won the strap in his last outing; it was his third consecutive win. The London born fighter has stopped Chase Morton and Vaughan Lee during that run. The victory over Morton took place at Bellator 158, while the win over Lee was at Cage Warriors 82.
Reed (7-0) will be coming into the bout with a perfect professional MMA record of seven wins and zero losses. In those seven wins, the Welshman has amassed six finishes. In his most recent bout, Reed stopped Gavin Kelly in the first round of their bout at Cage Warriors 83.
