A featherweight contest between Lloyd Manning and Paull McBain has been announced for Cage Warriors 82. This fight was originally scheduled to happen at Cage Warriors 81.

Cage Warriors Fighting Championship announced the news on Twitter.

Manning (2-0 MMA, 1-0 CWFC) has finished both of his professional bouts in under one minute. His professional debut came at BAMMA 24, where he dispatched of Nicholas Ott in just :59 seconds. “Chopper” then stopped Nathan Sparks in just :50 seconds at Cage Warriors: Unplugged last November.

McBain (3-0 MMA, 0-0 CWFC) made his professional debut in 2014, and has maintained a one fight per year ratio since then. In August of 2014 McBain went 1-0 when he stopped Yoann Pianetti in the first round of their bout at Combat Aberdeen 2. The Scotsman then stopped Craig McIntosh in the first round at First Fighting Championship in February of 2015. Most recently, McBain stopped Niall Smith in just over two minutes at First Fighting Championship in August of 2016.

Cage Warriors 82 takes place live from the Echo Arena in Liverpool, England on April 1. The card is set to be headlined by hometown favourite Paddy “The Baddy” Pimblett as he faces Nad Narimani.
