Newly crowned Cage Warriors Fighting Championship Bantamweight Champion Nathaniel “The Prospect” Wood has a date for his next outing.
Wood will fight at Cage Warriors 86, which takes place live from the place he won the belt, the Indigo at the O2, on September 16. ITV News initially released the news.
Although he does not have an opponent announced yet, the promotion confirmed Wood (11-3) would fight on the show. It is currently unclear whether he will headline the show or not.
At Cage Warriors 84 in his home town of London, the Team Titan became the first Londoner to win a Cage Warriors belt, when he stopped Swiss fighter Marko Kovacevic in the first round with strikes.
Cage Warriors 86 takes place live from the Indigo at the O2 in London, England on September 16.
