Former UFC light-heavyweight contender, Ryan Bader has officially signed with Bellator. Bader announced the news himself on today’s edition of The MMA Hour.

Despite holding a 15-5 record within the UFC, the promotion have decided not to match Bellator’s offer.

The 33-year-old has won his last two fights, stopping both Ilir Latifi and Antonio Rogerio Nogueira.

With nine of his fifteen victories coming by decision, Bader may not have established himself as a fan favourite, but has been among the division’s top fighters in recent years.

There is currently no date set for Bader’s Bellator debut.
