Irishman Peter Queally is set to come up against Russian Igor Egorov at Fight Nights Global 64.
The fight was announced over social media.
Queally (9-3) is coming off a decision victory over Decky Dalton in a fight that took place at Cage Legacy Fighting Championships 1. Prior to that, “The Showstopper” lost a decision to Joe McColgan at BAMMA 26. Queally moved down from welterweight to lightweight following that loss.
Egorov (12-6) is coming off a brutal knockout loss to Englishman Jack McGann. That was in November of 2016. Prior to the loss, the Russian had won three straight fights, earning two decisions and one stoppage victory. Egorov has shared the cage with names such as Arnold Quero and Lukasz Sajewski.
Fight Nights Global 64 takes place live from the Ice Palace in Moscow, Russia, on April 28, 2017. The card is headlined by UFC veteran Ali Bagautinov as he faces Tyson Nam.
