UK MMA name Shaj Haque is set to fight a Russian in enemy territory. Haque will face Tagir Ulanbekov at Fight Nights Global 65 on May 19.

The promotion announced the bout over social media.

Haque (9-2) is currently riding a two fight win streak, with victories over Daniel Missin and Sam Creasey respectively. “Superman” outworked Creasey to earn a decision victory at Cage Warriors: Unplugged. Prior to his title fight with Rany Saadeh at BAMMA 23 in 2015, the flyweight fighter hadn’t lost for two years.

Ulanbekov (5-0) has won all of his professional contests, coming away with four finishes. The Russian made his debut in 2013, before next fighting in 2015. After two wins in two during 2016, he has already earned a win this year, stopping previously undefeated Asu Almabaev at Fight Nights Global 58.

Fight Nights Global 65 takes place live from the Barys Astana Arena in Astana, Kazakhstan on May 19.
