Since arriving in Bellator on the back of a three fight losing skid in the UFC, it’s safe to say that Josh Thomson has turned his fortunes around. Beating the likes of Mike Bronzoulis and Pablo Vilaseca since signing for the promotion had led to the AKA fighter being booked to face former Bellator Lightweight champion Michael Chandler in his next fight.
Unfortunately, Thomson has now had to withdraw from the fight with a undisclosed injury, leaving Chandler without an opponent for the card and Bellator with little time to book another opponent.
