A lightweight contest between “Ill” Will Brooks and Charles Oliveira is official for UFC 210, in Buffalo.
The fight was announced during Saturday’s broadcast of UFC 208.
Brooks (19-2 MMA, 1-1 UFC) is the former Bellator Lightweight Champion, and prior to his last bout was riding a nine fight win streak. In his promotional debut, Brooks defeated Ross Pearson via Unanimous Decision. The American was stopped By Alex Oliveira in his last bout.
Oliveira (21-7 1NC MMA, 9-7 1NC UFC) is 1-4 in his last five outings. The Brazilian is currently on a two fight skid. The first loss came against former UFC Lightweight Champion Anthony Pettis, where he was submitted in the third round of their bout. In his most recent outing, “Do Bronx” was again submitted, this time by Ricardo Lamas.
UFC 210 takes place live from the Keybank Center in Buffalo, New York on April 8, 2017. The card is set to be headlined by a light heavyweight championship fight between current champion Daniel Cormier and Anthony Johnson.
