It’s almost upon us! For what has felt like an eternity, MMA – and the UFC in particular – have lobbied to (legally) put on shows in New York. Well, this weekend, the sport’s biggest promotion finally get to make their mark on the Big Apple. To celebrate this momentous occasion, the UFC are rolling out the big potatoes and delivering a three-title-fight headed main card.
To celebrate this celebration, The Sprawl have decided to put together some staff picks for the event. We’re not keeping score, not publicly anyway.
Putting our necks and floppy bits on the line, here are the #SprawlStaffPicks for UFC 205:
As you can see from the graphic below, there’s no love for Raquel Pennington or Karolina Kowalkiewicz from our team. Conor McGregor and Donald Cerrone are heavily favoured, but the picks are almost even for the welterweight title fight.
