A middleweight bout between ‘Smilen’ Sam Alvey and Kevin Casey has been added to UFC Vancouver.

The UFC revealed the bout, along with two other bouts, which are: Shane Campbell vs. Felipe Silva and Ryan James vs. Adam Hunter via a press release.

Alvey (27-8, 1NC MMA, 4-3 UFC) debuted in the UFC with a loss to Tom ‘Kong’ Watson before going on a streak of destruction. Alvey went on a three fight win streak with three first round knockouts. Firstly, Alvey stopped Dylan Andrews in November of 2014 before knocking out Cezar Ferreira in February of 2015, and then he starched Dan Kelly in May 2015 to make in three in a row. Alvey then faced Derek Brunson, but was finished in the first round. Following the loss, Alvey Faced Elias Theodorou, but lost the bout via unanimous decision. In his most recent bout, Alvey got back to winning ways with a submission victory over Eric Spicely.

Casey (9-4-1, 2NC MMA, 1-1-1, 2NC UFC) originally won his UFC debut via KO in the first round, but the result was overturned following a positive drug test. Casey then faced Ildemar Alcantara, and won the fight via decision before fighting Antonio Carlos Junior. Casey was the victim of an accidental eye poke and after being rendered unable to continue, the fight was declared a No Contest. Rafael Natal is the only man that holds a UFC win over Casey, as the Brazilian stopped him in the third round of their bout at UFC on FOX 18. Following the loss, Casey fought Elvis Mutaptic at UFC 199, but after three rounds of action, the fight was declared a draw.

UFC Vancouver takes place live from the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada and is set to be headlined by a welterweight fight between Carlos Condit and Demian Maia.
