British Lightweight Ross “The Real Deal Pearson” is set to face Dan Hooker at UFC Fight Night 110, which takes place in Auckland, New Zealand.

Radio Sport first announced the bout, and the UFC confirmed later on in the day.

Pearson (19-13 1NC) may be fighting for his job come June 11, as he’s currently on a three fight skid. Decision losses to Will Brooks, Jorge Masvidal and Stevie Ray respectively have put Pearson in a position where he may have to win to keep his job. The Sunderland native’s last win came in March of 2016, where he edged Chad Laprise via split decision.

Hooker (13-7) is returning to lightweight following a six fight stint at featherweight. The Auckland native, who will be fighting in his home city, dropped down to featherweight upon signing for the UFC, and has since gone 3-3, maintaining a perfect win/loss pattern.

UFC Fight Night 110 takes place live from the Vector Arena in Auckland, New Zealand on June 11, 2017. The card is set to be headlined by a heavyweight contest between Derrick Lewis and Mark Hunt.
