During the broadcast of UFC 208 yesterday, the UFC announced five fights for their UFC on FOX 24 card.

In those fights, we see two women’s bouts, and three men’s fights.

The most significant bout announced was a women’s strawweight one between title contenders Rose Namajunas and Michelle Waterson. Namajunas (5-3) lost her last bout via split decision to Karolina Kowalkiewicz. Waterson (14-4) choked Paige VanZant unconscious in her last outing in the main event of UFC Sacramento.

The next bout announced was a flyweight one between Louis Smolka and Tim Elliot. The Sprawl reported on this days ago.

In the next bout, Devin Clark and Jake Collier meet. Clark (7-1) is coming off a decision win over Josh Stansbury at The Ultimate Fighter 24 Finale. Collier (10-3) stopped Alberto Uda at UFC Fight Night 88 in his last bout.

The second to last bout announced was a middleweight contest between Anthony Smith and Andrew Sanchez. Smith (26-12) last fought at The Ultimate Fighter 24 Finale, where he stopped Elvis Mutaptic. Sanchez (9-2) last appeared at UFC Albany, and took a decision over Trevor Smith.

A women’s bantamweight bout was also announced for the card, as Ashlee Evans-Smith faces Ketlen Vieira. Smith (5-1) is coming off a stoppage win over Veronica Macedo while Vieira (7-0) is coming off a decision win over Kelly Faszholz.

UFC on FOX 24 takes place live on April 15, 2017, from the Sprint Center in Kansas City.
