Former UFC Welterweight Champion “Ruthless” Robbie Lawler has officially left his gym American Top Team. Lawler won the welterweight strap whilst training at ATT.
The news was first reported by ENT Imports over Twitter and later confirmed by MMAFighting.com.
We can report that former @UFC Champion @Ruthless_RL Robbie Lawler is no longer an ATT fighter. He’s left the camp.

MMAFighting.com reached out to Lawler for comment, but did not receive an immediate response.
The reason for Lawler leaving is unclear, but you have to take into consideration the fact that the man who took his welterweight championship off of him and is still the belt holder, still trains at the facility. As of right now, Lawler does not have another gym.
