According to a Twitter account called @UFCrumors, which has already broke the news on numerous other fights, Vitor Belfort is set to clash against Gegard Mousasi, who is coming off a first round KO over Thiago Santos at UFC 200.

Belfort (25-12 MMA, 14-8 UFC) has looked rejuvenated over the past few years, going on a three fight win streak with three head kick KO’s before fighting Chris Weidman for the middleweight title. After a back and forth action packed start to the fight, Weidman stopped Belfort with ground and pound. Following the loss, Belfort fought Dan Henderson, and picked up yet another head kick knockout, stopping ‘Hendo’ in the first. Most recently, Belfort fought Ronaldo Souza at UFC 198. The Brazilian lost the fight via first round TKO.

Mousasi (39-6-2 MMA, 6-3 UFC) had tonnes of hype around him coming into the UFC, as he was unbeaten in his last 7, and he debuted in the octagon with a decision victory over Ilir Latifi in Sweden. Mousasi then fought Lyoto Machida and lost via decision before submitting Mark Munoz in just under four minutes. Mousasi then headlined a UFC card for the fourth time in a row, but couldn’t get past submission expert ‘Jacare’ Souza tapping to a guillotine in the third round. The former amateur boxing champion then put together his first two fight win streak in the UFC, stopping Dan Henderson before taking a decision home against Costas Phillipou. Mousasi then faced Uriah Hall, and was stopped with strikes for the first time in his career. The Dutchman is now riding a two fight winning streak, with a decision victory over Thales Leites and a stoppage over Thiago Santos most recently at UFC 200.

UFC Fight Night 94 takes place live from the Ginasio Nilson Nelson arena in Brasilia, Brazil on Sept. 24.
