A featherweight title fight between current champion Jose Aldo and Interim Champion Max Holloway may be on the cards for UFC 212 on June 3.

Brazilian outlet Combate reported the news moments ago.

Aldo (26-2 MMA, 8-1 UFC) was the first ever UFC featherweight champion, and successfully defended his strap seven times. Aldo picked up wins over names such as Chad Mendes, Frankie Edgar and Kenny Florian in that time. The Brazilian lost his title to Irishman Conor McGregor at UFC 194, and in his most recent bout, won it back against Frankie Edgar.

Holloway (17-3 MMA, 13-3 UFC) went 3-3 in his first six UFC bouts, but since a loss to Conor McGregor, has put together ten consecutive wins. Throughout those ten wins, “Blessed” has picked up seven finishes. Them stoppages came against Will Chope, Andre Fili, Clay Collard, Akira Corassani, Cub Swanson, Charles Oliveira, and Anthony Pettis.
