Jon Jones could finally be returning. Reports have came out today that the former light heavyweight kingpin will return and attempt to reclaim his throne from Daniel Cormier at UFC 214.

MMAFighting.com’s Ariel Helwani first reported the news on Monday’s edition of The MMA Hour.

Cormier (19-1) was 15-0 and 4-0 in the UFC when he first faced Jon Jones for the UFC Light Heavyweight Championship, but he was defeated, and lost his undefeated record. Since then, the former Olympian has continued his beef with Jones, whilst fighting, and winning four fights.

Jones (22-1) has one loss on his record, but that is one that should not be there. After he landed illegal elbow against Matt Hammill, the fight was stopped and ruled a DQ. Since that time, he has won 11-straight fights, capturing the light heavyweight championship and defending it eight times.

UFC 214 takes place live from the Honda Center in Anaheim, California, on Saturday, July 29.
