Cub Swanson and Artem Lobov are not usually names you’d hear in the same sentence. Swanson is near the top of the division and constantly working his way up while Lobov is near the lower end of the division.
Ranking, and fighting aside, the two men do not like each other, apparently. Swanson and Lobov traded tweets today after Lobov replied to a Tweet from Swanson which was uploaded on Jan. 7. Here is the original tweet.

Before Artem could reply, “Killer Cub” followed up with this.

Them tweets were from two days ago, but it seems Artem has only just caught on to them now. He replied to Cub, saying this:

The Russian who is a self proclaimed Irishman was not happy, Cub saw the lighter side in his tweet, though, replying with just a laughing emoji.

If we’re being honest here, this fight is probably never going to happen. That is unless Swanson has a catastrophic fall from grace or Lobov starts taking names and flies up the divisional rankings. Swanson is ranked #4 in the division and is coming off a massive win over Doo Ho Choi is a fight of the year contender, while Lobov is unranked, and is coming off a decision victory over Teruto Ishihara.
