A middleweight contest between Rashad Evans and Sam Alvey has been added to UFC Fight Night 114.

The UFC’s Spanish Website announced the bout.

Evans (19-6-1) is the former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion, but is win-less in his last three. A decision loss to Ryan Bader was followed by a KO loss to Glover Teixeira in less than two minutes. In his most recent outing, “Suga” dropped a decision to Dan Kelly.

Alvey (30-9, 1NC) had a four fight win streak snapped in his last outing. Following stoppage victories over Eric Spicely and Kevin Casey, Alvey scored decision victories over Alex Nicholson and Nate Marquardt. In his most recent outing, a serious ankle injury suffered in the first round hampered him, and he lost a decision to Thales Leites.

UFC Fight Night 114 takes place live from the Arena Ciudad de Mexico in Mexico City, Mexico on August 5, 2017. The card is set to be headlined by a flyweight bout between Sergio Pettis and Brandon Moreno.
