Lightweight’s Michael “Maverick” Chiesa and Kevn Lee will meet in the UFC Fight Night 112 Main Event.
MMAFighting.com confirmed an initial report with UFC officials.
Chiesa (14-2 MMA, 7-2 UFC) was crowned The Ultimate Fighter 15 Winner after he choked out Al Iaquinta at the season Finale. Following that bout, the 29-year-old went 3-2 in his next five, but is now on a three fight tear. A decision over Mitch Clarke was followed by two second round rear naked choke wins against Jim Miller and Beneil Dariush respectively.
Lee (15-2 MMA, 8-2 UFC) lost his UFC debut to the man Chiesa won his against, Al Iaquinta. Following the loss, the 24-year-old put together four straight wins, finishing one. His next bout was his second, and latest UFC loss, as he was stopped by Leonardo Santos at UFC 194. Since that loss, Lee has won four straight, with three finishes.
UFC Fight Night 112 takes place live from the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, on June 25.
