Lorenz Larkin has stepped in to face Neil Magny at UFC 202 following Dong Hyun Kim’s departure due to injury.

The Los Angeles Daily News reported the news on Wednesday.

Larkin (17-5 (1NC) MMA, 4-5 UFC) seems to have finally found his feet inside the UFC’s octagon, putting together his first two fight win streak with stoppages over John Howard and Santiago Ponzinibbio. Following the victories, Larkin fought Albert Tumenov at UFC 195 and lost the bout via split decision. Larkin is coming off the most impressive and notable win of his career thus far, as he defeated Jorge Masvidal via split decision at UFC Fight Night: Almeida vs. Grabrandt.

Magny (18-4 MMA, 11-3 UFC) started his UFC career 1-2 before going on an incredible run of 10 wins in 11 losses. To start the streak, Magny took home decision victories over Gasan Umalatov and Tim Means before stopping Rodrigo de Lima in June of 2014.Magny then took home a decision victory over Alex Garcia before stopping William Macario and Kiichi Kunimoto. Magny won his seventh fight in a row with a TKO victory over Hyun Gyu Lim before being submitted by Demian Maia at UFC 190. Since the loss, Magny has won two straight, with a decision victory over Kelvin Gastelum and a TKO victory over Hector Lombard.

UFC 202 takes place live from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on August 20. The card is set to be headlined by a rematch between Nate Diaz and Conor McGregor.
