Featherweight Jared Gordon was discovered by UFC President Dana White on his show, ‘Lookin’ for a Fight’, and now he’s set to make his promotional debut.
The promotion announced the bout on Tuesday.
Gordon (12-1) is currently riding a three fight win streak, with his only professional loss coming by way injury. Prior to signing with the Ultimate Fighting Championship, Gordon was the CFFC Featherweight Champion.
His opponent will be Michel Quinones (8-1), who has won his last five straight fights. Quinones, a native of America, will also be making his promotional debut. In his last five fights, all wins, the 32-year-old has managed to pick up four stoppages.
UFC 211 takes place live from the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas, on May 13, 2017. The card is expected to be headlined by a heavyweight championship fight between current champion Stipe Miocic and former champion Junior dos Santos.
