UFC Women’s Strawweight contender Jessica Andrade has officially been removed from the UFC 207 fight card. The promotion have been seeking an opponent for the Brazilian, but with nine days left until the event, they gave up hope, and informed Andrade she would not be fighting.

Andrade (15-5 MMA, 6-3 UFC) went 4-3 in the women’s bantamweight division before making the move down to strawweight, and has been unstoppable since. “Bate Estaca” made her 115lb debut against Jessica Penne, and immediately cemented herself as a contender as she dispatched of Penne in the second round with vicious strikes. Her second strawweight bout was against JoJo Calderwood at UFC 203 in Cleveland. Andrade picked up her second win at strawweight and remained undefeated at the weight class with a submission in the first round.

UFC 207 takes place live from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on Dec. 30. The card is set to be headlined by a women’s bantamweight championship fight between Amanda Nunes and Ronda Rousey. The card also features one other title fight, and more pivotal match-ups which you can see here.
