A featherweight contest between Jeremy Stephens and Renato Moicano has been added to UFC on FOX 24.
UFC officials announced the fight on Wednesday evening.
Stephens (25-13 MMA, 13-12 UFC) is looking to get back to winning ways as he’s coming off a decision loss to Frankie Edgar at UFC 205. Prior to that loss, Stephens defeated former UFC Bantamweight Champion Renan Barao. The 30-year-old has wins over names such as Dennis Bermudez, Darren Elkins and Rony Jason.
Moicano (10-0-1 MMA, 2-0 UFC) had picked up eight wins from nine bouts prior to signing with the UFC, also fighting to a draw in one of the contests. The Brazilian made his promotional debut at UFC Fight Night 58 where he submitted Tom Niinimaki in the second round. In his second, and most recent UFC bout, Moicano maintained his perfect record, taking a decision win over Zubaira Tukhugov.
