TUF 18 competitor, who was eliminated by eventual winner Julianna Pena and has fought once in three years, has a second chance at fighting for the UFC. Gina Mazany has stepped in on short notice to replace the injured Liz Carmouche and fight Sara McMann at UFC Halifax.

MMAFighting.com announced the news.

Mazany (4-0) went 3-0 with two finishes prior to The Ultimate Fighter Season 18. She lost in the first episode of the show to Julianna Pena and following the show, didn’t fight for three years. She returned in May of 2016 and picked up a TKO victory on the Alaska regional scene.

McMann (10-3) is a former Olympian and has challenged for the UFC Bantamweight Title. Prior to her loss to Ronda Rousey, McMann was undefeated, since then, she has gone 3-2. The American is currently riding a two fight win streak with a decision victory over Jessica Eye and a submission victory over Alexis Davis.

UFC Fight Night 105 takes place live from the Scotiabank Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada on Sunday Feb. 19. The card is set to be headlined by a heavyweight bout between Derrick Lewis and Travis Browne.
