A heavyweight fight between Fabricio Werdum and Alistair Overeem is official for UFC 213, which takes place in Las Vegas.

Brett Okamoto first reported the news.

Werdum (21-6-1) hasn’t fought since September of 2016, where he defeated Travis Browne by Decision for a second time. Prior to that, the Brazilian lost his UFC He’s weight Championship by first round knockout to Stipe Miocic at UFC 198.

Overeem (42-15 1NC) won for straight fights, defeating Stefan Struve, Roy Nelson, Junior dos Santos and Andrei Arlovski to earn a shot at the UFC Heavyweight Championship. “Reem” was stopped in the first round of the bout, but rebounded by leaving Mark Hunt face down on the canvas at UFC 209.

UFC 213 takes place live from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegahs, Nevada on July 8.
