A lightweight bout between Evan Dunham and Abel Trujillo has joined the line-up for UFC Fight Night 94.

MMAJunkie reported the news.

Dunham (17-6 MMA, 10-6 UFC) began 2013 with a split decision win over Gleison Tibau before facing former lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos. Dunham lost the bout via unanimous decision before losing two more at the hands of Donald Cerrone and Edson Barboza. The American rebounded from the three fight skid by defeating Rodrigo Damm by decision at UFC 183. Dunham then came up against Ross Pearson, and again won the bout by decision. Most recently, Dunham fought Joe Lauzon at The Ultimate Fighter 22 Finale, and won the bout via unanimous decision.

Trujillo (15-6, 1NC MMA, 6-2, 1NC UFC) debuted in the UFC with a stoppage victory over Marcus LeVesseur before facing Khabib Nurmagomedov. Trujillo lost the bout against Nurmagomedov via unanimous decision. “Killa” then faced Roger Bowling, but the fight was declared a No Contest following an illegal knee which rendered Bowling unable to continue. Trujillo and Bowling rematched four months later, with Trujillo picking up a second round stoppage. Trujillo then earned Fight of the Night and Knockout of the Night honours following his third round knockout win over Jamie Varner at UFC 169. Trujillo faced Tony Ferguson next, but was submitted in the second round. Trujillo is now riding a three fight streak with victories over Gleison Tibau, Tony Sims and Jordan Rinaldi.

UFC Fight Night 94 takes place live from the State Farm Arena in Hidalgo, Texas on Sept. 17. The card is set to be headlined by a lightweight scrap between Dustin Poirier and Michael Johnson.
