A middleweight contest between Ed Herman and CB Dolloway has been added to The Ultimate Fighter 25 Finale.
MMAFighting.com first reported the news.
Herman (23-12 1NC) is looking to get himself back into the win column following a head kick knockout loss to Nikita Krylov in his last outing at UFC 201. Prior to that loss, Herman stopped Tim Boetsch in the second round of their bout at UFC Boston. “Short Fuse” has failed to put together a win streak since 2012.
Dolloway (15-8) will likely be fighting in the UFC for the last time should he lose to Ed Herman, as “The Doberman” has lost three straight bouts. A 62-second loss to Lyoto Machida started the slump, before Dolloway lost a decision to now middleweight champion Michael Bisping. In his most recent outing, the 33-year-old was stopped by Nate Marquardt. Dolloway hasn’t fought since December of 2015.
The Ultimate Fighter 25 Finale takes place live from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on July 7, 2017.
