Following the news that Amanda Ribas has been forced to pull out of her bout at The Ultimate Fighter 25 Finale, Tecia Torres has stepped in to face Juliana Lima.
MMAFighting.com confirmed the news.
Torres (8-1) lost for the first time in her professional career two fights ago. The loss came against Rose Namajunas via decision. She rebounded from the loss by taking a decision win over Bec Rawlings at UFC Houston.
Lima (9-3) has not stepped into the octagon since December of 2016, when she defeated JJ Aldrich via decision. Prior to that, the Brazilian lost a decision to former champion Carla Esparza. Lima is 3-2 in the UFC.
The Ultimate Fighter 25 Finale takes place live from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Friday, July 7. The card is headlined by a lightweight bout between Michael Johnson and UFC newcomer Justin Gaethje.
