Heavyweight’s Derrick Lewis and Mark Hunt are set to fight in New Zealand on June 11th. The fight was reported earlier but has now been confirmed.

Lewis confirmed the bout on Twitter.

Lewis (18-4 1NC) is currently riding a six fight win streak. Five of those six victories have been via stoppage. Gabriel Gonzaga, Roy Nelson, and Travis Browne are among the names he’s beaten during that run. “The Black Beast” most recently fought in the main event of UFC Halifax, where he stopped the aforementioned Travis Browne in the second round.

Hunt (12-11-1 1NC) has lost his last two bouts, but one was overturned to a No Contest after Brock Lesnar failed a post fight drug test. In his most recent outing, the New Zealander last had his hand raised inside the octagon in March of 2016, when he walk-off KO’d Frank Mir in the main event of UFC Brisbane.

UFC Fight Night 110 takes place live from the Vector Arena in Auckland, New Zealand on June 11th. The heavyweight contest between Lewis and Hunt is expected to headline the bill.
