A featherweight contest between Dennis Bermudez and Darren Elkins has been added to UFC on FOX 25.
The promotion announced the fight earlier today.
Bermudez (16-6) had a two fight win streak snapped last time out as he was stopped by Chan Sung Jung in the main event of UFC Houston. Prior to the loss, “The Menace” was riding a two fight win streak with wins over Tatsuya Kawajiri and Rony Jason.
Elkins (22-5) has won his last four fights, and is coming off maybe the most memorable, and inspirational performance of his career. Following a dominant two rounds by Mirsad Bektic, he gassed, and Elkins was able to leave him unconscious.
UFC on FOX 25 takes place live from the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, New York, on Saturday, July 22, 2017. The card is set to be headlined by a middleweight contest between Chris Weidman and Kelvin Gastelum.
