A welterweight contest between Danny Roberts and Bobby Nash has been announced for UFC Fight Night 113, which takes place in Glasgow.
The Mirror revealed the news earlier today.
Roberts (13-2 MMA, 2-1 UFC) lost for the first time in five years last time out. The Bristol born fighter, who now calls himself a Liverpudlian, was stopped by Mike Perry in the third round of their bout at UFC 204. Prior to that, “Hot Chocolate” had defeated Nathan Coy and Dominque Steele.
Nash (8-2 MMA, 0-1 UFC) was riding a six fight win streak upon signing for the Ultimate Fighting Championship, and although his debut fight made headlines, it was not for reasons he would have hoped. Nash was stopped by Jingliang Li, who came back from being hurt and scored a highlight reel right hand KO.
UFC Fight Night 113 takes place live from The SSE Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland on July 16, 2017.
