If you’ve been living under a rock since Thursday night, you’ve missed a few massive developments regarding UFC 210.

One of them is that the women’s strawweight bout between Cynthia Calvillo and Pearl Gonzalez was called off. This decision came after the pair had weighed in, as the New York State Athletic Commission reportedly pulled Gonzalez from the fight due to her breast implants.

Fight fans had given up hope, and accepted the fight would no longer be on the main card, but UFC President Dana White shocked everybody at around 8:48GMT, when he announced the fight had in fact not been pulled, he said this on Twitter.

Calvillo (4-0) justified the hype train she had behind her in her UFC debut, as she ran through Amanda Cooper in the first round of their bout at UFC 209. Prior to signing with the UFC, the Team Alpha Male product had three wins, with two of those coming by way of stoppage.

Gonzalez (6-1) lost her first professional bout, but since then, has put together six wins. The 30-year-old fought once in 2016, submitting Katie Casimir at HFC 28. Gonzalez fights out of Chicago, Illinois and trains at the Combat-Do training facilities.

UFC 210 takes place live from the Keybank Center in Buffalo, New York on April 8 2017. The card is set to be headlined by a light heavyweight contest between current champion Daniel Cormier and Anthony Johnson.
