A light heavyweight bout between Corey Anderson and Tyson Pedro is being targeted for UFC on Fox 25.
MMA Today first reported the bout.
Anderson (9-3) is coming off a devastating KO loss to Jimi Manuwa in the headliner of UFC London. Prior to the loss, “Overtime” defeated Sean O’Connell by second round stoppage.
Pedro (6-0) last appeared at UFC 209, where he brutalised Paul Craig, and earned a first round stoppage. Prior to that, the 25-year-old submitted Khalil Rountree in his promotional debut.
UFC on Fox 25 takes place live from the Nassau Veterans Memorial Colosseum. The card is expected to be headlined by a middleweight contest between Chris Weidman and Kelvin Gastelum.
