The heavyweight fight between Cain Velasquez and Fabricio Werdum has been removed from the UFC 207 card.
The news was broken by ESPN’s Brett Okamoto.
BREAKING: According to sources, Cain Velasquez vs. Fabricio Werdum at UFC 207 will not happen. NSAC ruled out Velasquez for medical reasons.

It was revealed earlier in the week by Okamoto that Velasquez had been taking medical marijuana to dull pain due to a back injury.
