A lightweight fight between Beniel Dariush and Rashid Magomedov has been added to The Ultimate Fighter Latin America 3 Finale.
The news was announced by UFC Espanol on Tuesday.
Dariush (13-2 MMA, 7-2 UFC) went 1-1 in his first two UFC bouts before putting together a five fight win streak. Dariush submitted Tony Martin and took a decision away against Carlos Diego Ferreira. Dariush then started off 2015 with a second round submission victory over Daron Cruickshank. “Benny” then took home decision victories over Jim Miller and Michael Johnson before being submitted by Michael Chiesa at UFC on FOX 19. In his most recent outing, Dariush became the first man to defeat James Vick, knocking him out in the first round.
Magomedov (19-1 MMA, 4-0 UFC) was 7-0 before losing in 2010, but since then, the Russian has put together a 12-fight win streak with four in of those in the UFC. Magomedov made his UFC debut in February of 2014 at UFC 169, and took home a decision against Tony Martin before taking another decision, this time against Rodrigo Damm at The Ultimate Fighter Brazil 3 Finale. Magomedov then picked up his first stoppage in the UFC, stopping Elias Silverio at UFC Barueri. Magomedov hasn’t fought since November of 2015 where he took home a decision against Gilbert Burns.
The Ultimate Fighter Latin America 3 Finale is set to take place live from the Arena Ciudad de Mexico in Mexico City, Mexico on Nov. 5. No main event has been announced for the card as of yet.
