Just four days before UFC 198 was due to take place, former middleweight champion Anderson Silva, has been forced to pull out of his scheduled fight with Uriah Hall. the former champion has withdrawn due to severe abdominal pains, that some reports have suggested could require gall bladder surgery.

Silva’s withdrawal leaves the UFC little time to find an opponent for Hall, so expect to see Matt Brown and Demian Maia moved from the prelims to the main card as a replacement for the Silva/Hall fight.
