A light heavyweight fight between two former title challengers is being targeted for a UFC event in Stockholm.

Multiple sources reported the news, but the fight has not yet been confirmed or announced by the promotion. The event in which the fight is targeted for has not yet been announced.

Gustafsson (17-4 MMA, 9-4 UFC) rose to stardom when he gave Jon Jones what is still considered to be his toughest test to date. Gustafsson and Jones went back and forth for five rounds, with the Swede losing out on the title, walking away with a decision loss. “The Mauler” has suffered with depression, and has taken time away from the sport.

Teixeira (26-5 MMA, 9-3 UFC) started his UFC run with five straight wins, before suffering two straight losses, the first in a title fight against Jon Jones, and the second against Phil Davis. The Brazilian rebounded from the loss by putting together three straight wins before being stopped by Anthony Johnson at UFC 202. In his most recent outing, Teixiera got back to winning ways with a decision victory over Jared Cannonier.

There is no date announced for the event in Stockholm yet.
