A welterweight contest between Alex Garcia and Tim Means has been added to UFC Fight Night 112.

The promotion announced the bout.

Garcia (14-3) is coming off a highlight reel knockout victory over Mike Pyle at UFC 207. Prior to that, the Tristar product was stopped by Sean Strickland. Garcia, who is from the Dominican Republic, has gone 4-2 in the UFC thus far.

Means (26-8-1) has a massive experience advantage on his opponent, having competed in the octagon 35-times; 14-times in the UFC. In his most recent outing, “Dirty Bird” was submitted by Alex Oliveira in the second round after their first contest was ruled a no contest.

UFC Fight Night 112 takes place live from the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA. The card is headlined by a lightweight bout between Michael Chiesa and Kevin Lee.
