The scheduled welterweight bout between Alan Jouban and Brian Camozzi has been altered, following a Jouban injury. Now, Camozzi will face Chad Laprise, who has stepped in to replace Jouban, who suffered a broken foot.

Sportsnet first reported the news.

Laprise (11-2) got back to winning ways last time out following two straight losses. Following a perfect 3-0 start in the promotion, he was stopped by Francisco Trinaldo, and then dropped a split decision to Ross Pearson. In his most recent outing, the Canadian stopped Thibault Gouti at UFC Vancouver.

Camozzi (7-3) is the brother of UFC and MMA veteran Chris Camozzi, and has competed once in the UFC thus far. Prior to signing with the organisation, “The Mantis” captured the vacant RFA Welterweight Championship. In his promotional debut, Camozzi was stopped by Randy Brown at UFC Albany.

UFC 213 takes place live from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on July 8, 2017. The card is set to be headlined by a women’s bantamweight title fight between current titleholder Amanda Nunes and Valentina Shevchenko.
