The Sprawl has an exclusive announcement: middleweight prospect Mehrdad “9 Shots” Janzemini (4-2) is set to take on Mike Brown (2-6) at Lion Fighting Championship 11.
Janzemini, who turns 21 in March, returns after an injury-induced loss at ACB 46 in Poland last September. Prior to the defeat, Janzemini submitted three consecutive opponents with heel-hooks, two inside of a minute.
Brown has competed against the likes of Bola Omoyele and Dan “Vinni” Edwards in his 8-year mixed martial arts tenure. His last outing was against the aforementioned Edwards, a teammate of Janzemini’s, who swiftly finished Brown with a kimura in the opening minutes of their light-heavyweight encounter.
