The debut event for Tanko Submission Championship just got that bit bigger following the announcement of two marquee bouts.
Recently retired from MMA, former UFC competitor, Ian Entwistle steps up to face Emil Malczewski in a no-gi affair. The bout is set to take place at 72kg.
Also added to the card is former Cage Warriors featherweight champion, Paddy Pimblett vs. European IBJJF gold medallist, Lloyd Cooper. So that’s ‘The Baddy’ vs. ‘The Yorkshire Gripper’, can’t argue with that.
The two have previously trained together, which could make for an interesting dynamic when they meet on the mat. Cooper recently received his black belt and is competing in the Densetsu event this weekend.
