Liverpudlian star Paddy “The Baddy” Pimblett will be looking to get back on track at Cage Warriors 88, following his last bout, where he lost a unanimous decision, and his Cage Warriors Featherweight Championship to Nad Narimani.

Countless names have been thrown up in the air to face Pimblett, but the man that has gotten the nod is TUF veteran, and unbeaten Croatian Vlado Sikic.

The promotion announced the news over social media earlier today.

The pair will fight in a 150lbs catchweight contest, with Pimblett usually fighting at 145lbs (featherweight), and Sikic competing at 155lbs (lightweight).

Pimblett (13-2 MMA, 8-2 CWFC) won the vacant Cage Warriors Featherweight Belt at Cage Warriors 78 in his hometown, and went on to defend the belt once in a close, back and forth fight against Julian Erosa at CW: Unplugged before losing the title against Nad Narimani at Cage Warriors 82.

Sikic (11-0-1 MMA, 0-0 CWFC) will be making his Cage Warriors debut in the Echo Arena, and will be looking to build on his impressive 11-0 record. The Croatian hasn’t stepped into the cage since his loss, due to injury, in The Ultimate Fighter Season 22.

Cage Warriors 88 takes place live from the Echo Arena in Liverpool, England on October 28, 2017. The card is set to be headlined by a lightweight championship fight between current titleholder Chris Fishgold and Alexander Jacobsen.
