Cage Warriors: Unplugged took place just three days ago, with promotional poster boy Paddy “The Baddy” Pimblett starring in the main event. Pimblett faced UFC veteran Julian Erosa, and went five hard rounds with the American. After starting well, Pimblett got tagged with some vicious shots, including a flying knee in the third round which seemed close to finishing the fight.

The result was handed over to the judges, with the majority of ‘Tweeters’ scoring the bout for Erosa; but that’s not what the judges thought, “And still!” shouted Andy Friedlander, meaning Pimblett’s first defence of his featherweight belt was successful. 49-46, 48-47 and 48-47 were the official scorecards, with all three judges scoring it in favour of the Liverpudlian.

It’s fair to say the result shocked the Twitter world, with thousands of tweets reacting, but here’s the best of them:

Firstly came the initial reaction to the result

And Then came the tweets about ‘that moment’
