BAMMA Light Heavyweight Champion Paul Craig has signed with the Ultimate Fighting Championship. The news has not officially been announced by the UFC or BAMMA yet, but was revealed by UFC Fighters Info on Twitter and has been confirmed by multiple sources to The Sprawl.

Craig (8-0 MMA) was 6-0 before debuting at BAMMA, with five submissions and a TKO finish. ‘Bearjew’ fought Karl Moore in his debut for the promotion, and picked up a second round submission victory at BAMMA 22. In his next bout, Craig faced then light heavyweight champion Marcin Lazarz for the belt, and won the bout via submission in the first round.

The Scotsman doesn’t yet have an opponent, but may find himself on the Belfast card on Nov. 19.
