Two more bouts have today been announced for the BAMMA 29 card, which takes place on Friday, May 12.

It was announced yesterday that former BAMMA Bantamweight Champion Shay Walsh had re-signed with the promotion, and now he has a fight. Walsh (15-4) will take on Aaron “Smackwell” Blackwell (15-10-1), who made his BAMMA debut last time out, losing a decision to Alan Philpott in a Lonsdale Bantamweight Title fight.

The other bout announced for the card, which takes place in Birmingham, is a featherweight one between Stephen Martin (6-4) and Daniel Rutkowski (2-2). Martin has four losses on his record, but they’ve came to the best on the scene. Tim Wilde, Andre Winner, Paddy Pimblett and Arnold Quero are the only men to defeat him. Rutkowski lost his first two professional bouts, before rebounding and winning two straight, evening his record out at 2-2.

BAMMA 29 takes place live from the Genting Arena in Birmingham, England, on Friday, May 12. The card is headlined by a heavyweight fight between Brett McDermott and Ruben Wolf.
