On Top Promotions: Face/Off takes place on Saturday 4th of February 2017.
This will be a sixteen fight card and will be hosted at the Lagoon Leisure Centre – Paisley, Renfrewshire. The fight card will showcase a fantastic main event between Kieran “The Hater” Malone and Panagiotis “Hardcore” Stroumpoulis. There is also a welterweight title fight between the champion Sean McInally and Hugh Gleeson. Gym 01 from Portsmouth will be represented throughout the card bringing four amateurs to the show.

Main Event: Welterweight bout

Kieran “The Hater” Malone (9-10). Kieran will be hoping to start 2017 with a bang. His last three fights have produced a mixed bag of results, winning one and losing two. Kieran’s recent loss was against MMA veteran John “The One” Maguire at ACB 47: Braveheart in Glasgow.

Kieran’s nine wins have been achieved by three KO/TKO’s/three submissions/three decisions.

Panagoitis “Hardcore” Stroumpoulis (10-5). Panagoitis will be the in-form fighter going into this contest with an established five straight win record (four decisions and one TKO). His last fight was against Leonardo Sinis at CS – Cage Survivor 5 where he won by unanimous decision over a three round fight.

“Hardcore” will be putting everything on the line to achieve victory number six.

Welterweight title bout

Sean McInally (4-2) This will be Sean’s first title defence since he won the belt in October, where he submitted Jonny McKillop in round two at On Top: Weekender. Sean’s other two victories were achieved by submission in round two and a TKO/KO finish in round one against James Pattie at On Top: New Territory.

Hugh Gleeson (4-0-1) This will be Hugh’s second fight at Welterweight, competing mostly at Lightweight successfully he has been thrusted into a title fight against Sean McInally. Hugh has ended his previous two fights by TKO Shaun Donnelly & Johnny Martin at both Clan War promotions. Hugh’s last outing at On Top, ended in a three round majority draw against Nik Binning.

Featherweight bout

Aidan Stephen (1-1) This will be Aidan’s third professional fight and his second in the featherweight division. Aidan’s first fight as a professional was in the bantamweight division, where he beat Michael Putlak by way of submission in the first round at On Top: Frontline. In Aidan’s second professional fight, he fought Call Ellenor at On Top: Weekender but was beaten in the third round by submission.

Aidan also has a successful amateur record of seven fights, winning six with one loss. Five of those wins came by way of submission.

Dawid Kostecki (0-0) This will be Dawid’s first professional fight in the featherweight division. From Dawid’s amateur record (6-3), he has been fighting at two different weight classes (welterweight/lightweight) and his wins have came from either TKO/KO’s and submissions.

Dawid’s last three fights have been two wins and one loss.
