Walsh (16-4) and Philpott both have lost to now UFC fighter Tom Duquesnoy. Since that fight, the Yorkshire man has won two straight, the first being a decision victory over James McErlean at Bellator 173, and the second, and most recent, being a decision victory over Aaron Blackwell at BAMMA 29 this past weekend.
Philpott (16-9) has not returned to the cage since his devastating loss to Tom Duquesnoy, where he was submitted in the second round after a back and forth, action packed fight. Prior to that fight, “The Apprentice” had won three straight fights under the BAMMA banner.
BAMMA 30 takes place live from the 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland on Friday, July 7, 2017.
