The Sprawl has an exclusive announcement in the BCMMA lightweight division: Sean “Sexy Curls” Carter (11-4) is set to face Gary “The Shepherd” Kono (11-14) at BCMMA 18 next month.
BKK Fighter Sean Carter will be looking to extend his win streak when he faces Gary Kono on February 18. It only took “Sexy Curls” 50 seconds to submit late-notice replacement Danny Joel in his last outing this past September. Prior to conquering Joel, Carter endured a four-fight losing streak, which included his unsuccessful stint on The Ultimate Fighter Season 22.
Paris native Gary Kono is 12-year veteran representing the Free Fight Academy. He was last seen competing in Oberhausen, Germany, losing in the main event to Mohamed Grabinski – the first TKO blemish of his career. Prior to that, “The Shepherd” submitted Dutchman Erdi Karatas with a rear-naked choke.
BCMMA 18 is scheduled to take place on Saturday the 18th February from the Charter Hall in Colchester, Essex. Tickets are available HERE.
